Have you heard?

April has it’s own cause.

… and we love it.

In celebration of Earth Month, we’re offering you all a challenge:

You can pick 1 out of our 3 harmful waste reducing challenges to test yourself with all this Month.

How hard could it be?

Who knows, you might even like it…

Challenge Option 1

Bringing your own reusable cup to your favorite coffee shop, or to your smoothie spot is a great way to help glean your harmful waste.

The USA alone goes through over 100 billion, billion with a B, every year.

That’s a lotta trash.

And did you know most coffee cups are lined with plastic? So even that Starbucks cup that looks degradable, well, isn’t.

Challenge Option 2

Straws. Suck.

Plain and simple.

The United States throws away enough straws to wrap around the Earth 2.5 times every single day.

One of the easiest things you can do to help cut down on your harmful waste is by mentioning to your server, “No straw for me please!”

If you are a sucker, through and through, fear not! You can buy your own reusable straw so you don’t have to kick the habit to kick the trash.

( you can find reusable straws here )

Challenge Option 3

Cities, States, heck even the whole continent of Australia has anti bag laws in effect.

85% of all sea turtles will be injured or killed by plastics in their lifetimes, and that’s just one species.

Bringing your own bag is a tricky to remember at first, but once you get in the groove, baby, its cake.

Plastic bags are used for an average of 12 minutes, but are designed to last for at least 1,000 years.
That seems a little silly if you ask us.
So be a pal, bring your own bag; to the produce section, to the art store, if you need one bring one!

You have your mission, should you choose to accept it.

Pick a challenge this month, and kick it’s butt.

Tag us and let us know how you do this April!
